What is The Little Numbers Project?

The Little Numbers Project is a project based on the fanfiction ”Little Numbers” by iknowitainteasy. This fanfiction has become very popular, and if you have not read it already you can read it here. Basically, tumblr users can either ask for another persons number or give their own number for people to text, so that they can sort of have their own ”Little Numbers.” You could text them a quote from the fanfiction, or start your own conversation, just try not to freak them out or make them feel uneasy.

Will my number be published?

No numbers will be published, and people who ask for a number on anonymous will not be given one. 

Why is this only for UK residents?

This is only open to UK residents as if, for example, US residents texted someone in the UK, it would end up costing a lot, whereas if it is kept to UK residents it will cost the normal text message rate. There is a Little Numbers Project for the US and other countries here.

Is there a limit for how many people can have my number/how many numbers I can ask for?

Yes, you can ask for a maximum of 2 numbers, and you can ask for your number to be given to a maximum of 5 people.

I promise your personal information will not be given to anyone outside of tumblr or anyone outside of The Little Numbers Project UK, it will not be posted on any blogs, I am trying to make this as safe as possible but if you do take part, you have to acknowledge the risks. Please do not give out addresses or any personal details to the person you are texting.
